וברא יהוה על כל מכון הר ציון ועל מקראה ענן יומם ועשן ונגה אש להבה לילה כי על כל כבוד חפה
וסכה תהיה לצל יומם מחרב ולמחסה ולמסתור מזרם וממטר

והיה כל הנותר מכל הגוים הבאים על ירושלם ועלו מדי שנה בשנה להשתחות למלך יהוה צבאות ולחג את חג הסכות
והיה אשר לא יעלה מאת משפחות הארץ אל ירושלם להשתחות למלך יהוה צבאות ולא עליהם יהיה הגשם
ואם משפחת מצרים לא תעלה ולא באה ולא עליהם תהיה המגפה אשר יגף יהוה את הגוים אשר לא יעלו לחג את חג הסכות
זאת תהיה חטאת מצרים וחטאת כל הגוים אשר לא יעלו לחג את חג הסכות
ביום ההוא יהיה על מצלות הסוס קדש ליהוה והיה הסירות בבית יהוה כמזרקים לפני המזבח
והיה כל סיר בירושלם וביהודה קדש ליהוה צבאות ובאו כל הזבחים ולקחו מהם ובשלו בהם ולא יהיה כנעני עוד בבית יהוה צבאות ביום ההוא

E criará o Senhor sobre todo o lugar do monte de Sião, e sobre as suas assembleias, uma nuvem de dia e uma fumaça, e um resplendor de fogo flamejante de noite; porque sobre toda a glória haverá proteção.
E haverá um tabernáculo para sombra contra o calor do dia; e para refúgio e esconderijo contra a tempestade e a chuva.
(Isaías 4:5-6)

E acontecerá que, todos os que restarem de todas as nações que vieram contra Jerusalém, subirão de ano em ano para adorar o Rei, o Senhor dos Exércitos, e para celebrarem a festa dos tabernáculos.
E acontecerá que, se alguma das famílias da terra não subir a Jerusalém, para adorar o Rei, o Senhor dos Exércitos, não virá sobre ela a chuva.
E, se a família dos egípcios não subir, nem vier, não virá sobre ela a chuva; virá sobre eles a praga com que o Senhor ferirá os gentios que não subirem a celebrar a festa dos tabernáculos.
Este será o castigo do pecado dos egípcios e o castigo do pecado de todas as nações que não subirem a celebrar a festa dos tabernáculos.
Naquele dia será gravado sobre as campainhas dos cavalos: SANTIDADE AO SENHOR; e as panelas na casa do SENHOR serão como as bacias diante do altar.
E todas as panelas em Jerusalém e Judá serão consagradas ao Senhor dos Exércitos, e todos os que sacrificarem virão, e delas tomarão, e nelas cozerão. E naquele dia não haverá mais cananeu na casa do Senhor dos Exércitos.

And the Lord will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.
And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the day time from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.

And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, Holiness Unto The Lord; and the pots in the Lord’s house shall be like the bowls before the altar.
Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the Lord of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts.
